We are seeking an HVAC Air Duct Cleaning Technician.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform service/maintenance for residential and light commercial systems
  • Assess systems to determine repair recommendations to clients
  • Explain to the customer each service and repair option prior to beginning work
  • Ensure that the client is 100% satisfied with all work upon completion
  • Offer customer 5 Star Service along with hints & tips to maintain system performance
  • Be part of the after-hours duty rotation

All applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • 2 or more years of service experience
  • Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
  • Must be fluent in English (reading/writing)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Must obtain chauffeur license and pass DOT physical
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and be able to bend, lift, carry, stoop, crawl, sit, stand, drive, reach above, walk, push, pull, fine manipulation, and use hands frequently
  • Must be able to pass both drug testing and background check

The Role

Summary:

Under the direction of the Sewer and Plumbing Managers, the Excavator Operator is responsible for operating medium to heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner during excavation projects for residential and light commercial properties. They are also responsible for digging ditches/trenches and performing general labor duties when not operating a piece of equipment. Knowledge in operating medium to heavy machinery such as mini excavator, backhoe, Bobcat, skid loaders and other similar equipment is required.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Dig ditches or trenches, back-fill excavations and level earth to grade specifications
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform safety and maintenance checks on machines
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Perform job duties as directed by supervisor

Physical Demands

  • Stand and Walk – 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • Sit 1/3 – 2/3 of the time
  • Lift between 25 – 80 pounds – 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • Reach with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • Climb or balance 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • Climb up and down ladders

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience operating medium-heavy machinery
  • Experienced in water, sewer, storm drain installation, trench boxes, manhole boxes and steel plates.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Ability to install sewer, water and storm drain pipes
  • Must have hand-eye coordination and endurance
  • Must have reliable transportation, be punctual and dependable
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and process manuals.
